Surviving the Winter Chill – Random Warmth
When Bill Clarke sends warmth my way, it’s usually in the form of comfort food. He often brings me a pie, takes the kids and I to dinner, or sends me chocolates from his favorite chocolate haven. So, I checked out his favorite chocolate haven, to see if I could send myself some chocolates. (It’s tax season, I can always use an extra hug during tax season.) I found out, I’d have to take out a personal loan online to be able to afford those chocolates.
Billy, you’re now my new best friend. Have I told you lately how much I appreciate you?
Sometimes, a girl just really needs something SPECIAL to help her survive the chill and the random warmth of chocolate offers such great potential. So, tonight, when I realized that chocolate was probably out of my reach, I considered what else I might like to have to warm the chill?
As a writer, I can usually come up with something a bit grandiose and wonderful that keeps me lovin’ the snow. What I came up with is writing.
You got it, writing. Nothing more, nothing less, and certainly nothing with calories. Just plain ole, on the puter writing that I love to do.
So, while the rest of the world is worrying about the cold ice blowing through the power lines and strangling traffic, I’ve been playing with marketing concepts.
Several thoughts came to mind, I’d like to share with you.
1. Chocolate Marketing Concepts means wealth and riches outside the value of the dollar.
2. Marketing has more to do with creating a community than it does with selling product.
3. Networking options on the Internet offer the greatest single opportunity known to man.
4. Without actual product on some level, all the marketing in the world won’t mean a thing to anyone.
5. Marketing online means I have a greater responsibility to the general development of business than the neighbor down the street, marketing to his neighborhood.
These basic concepts of marketing warm my heart. What about you?
