Divinely Truffles
Chocolate truffles, divine indulgences you can’t resist, are the most decadent of deserts. Pure chocolate so rich and delightfully tasty that they melt in your mouth and leave you speechlessly content. The essential ingredient in truffles is dark chocolate. You can, of course, have truffles that are not dark chocolate, but… would you want to?

Ingredients –
1 cup heavy cream
14 oz. dark chocolate (very high quality, 70% or better cocoa, chocolate or unsweetened baking chocolate)
8 oz additional dark chocolate
1 1/2 cups cocoa powder (highest quality you can find)
3 tbsp. butter
How to make the Batter -
1. break chocolate into small pieces in large bowl
2. bring cream to a light boil
3. pour cream over chocolate and stir until chocolate is melted and batter is homogenous.
4. add butter and continue to stir until cool.
Batter is called Ganache and is the base for all French Truffle Recipes.
