Daring to feel the exuberance of youth as you capture the essence of life is a joy few learn to experience.
When I awakened this morning I had this ominous feeling that life has passed me by. The reluctance of awakening after a bad dream to a world of terror, the struggles that have become a life lived in agony, feelings of abandonment and the terror of losing a family member can be overwhelming within a moment where you’re unsure if it was a dream or reality. Dawn sets us up for the day. Either the joy of awakening fully rested and ready to face the day or frightened by the last exploration of the unconscious mind, shocked into wakefulness by an unusual emotional response.
Life traumas can be an experience worthy of overcoming.
As a young mother, I opted not to give title to a learning disorder that could hold my young son back from learning. Recognizing a learning disability was different from giving it a title. I chose not to name it and not to disguise the act of learning as an illness that might prevent educating him in the usuall ways of education. He overcame the limitations and developed a real insight into himself and others based on what many accepted as the limitation. He learned to overcome, grew in strength and natural adherence to fundamental learning. His very weakness became his strength.
When others began to name Traumatic Stress Disorder as a destination where life had taken them, I backed out of that roadway and took a different route. I’d been abandoned, I had the option to overcome that struggle as a woman, I could leave it behind and move beyond that trauma of being rejected. A serious woman with a dedicated heart, I believed that I could live a joy filled life without the diagnosis. Joy filled was the key. I filled up my life with laughter, expectation and light. When the traumatic moments come, I look for the escape route where the light of joy gleams brighter than the darkness of gloom. My weakness became my strength.
Promise, the essence of life shines through with hope and joy.

Chocolate Marketing Concepts fill up the moment. A basic principle of life that if you fill up the gaps in life with joy and hope, laughter becomes the more prevalent experience, and a life of exuberance is the perception. We make the choice. A life of abundance doesn’t happen by accident and those who recognize that precept greet the day with fulfillment, even when they are momentarily overcome by the trauma of life’s discourse.
Recently, I met a young woman who works in retail. The exuberance and energy with which she does her job shine through in her demeanor and attitude. She’s consistently joyful and provocative, drawing in buyers with her friendly and humorous persuasion. On the edge of flirtatious, she dares people to walk past her without smiling, demands that people stop and take notice of her product with an energy that attracts them to her. From the front of a Big Box Store, you can hear people laughing as they walk away with her product, tucked safe and secure under their arm, because they don’t know that she won’t take it away from them, if they appear unsure of their intent to purchase. She’s been known to do that.
It’s that feeling of knowing that you’re not the center of the universe, but rather one of the pillars of joy that hold up the universe and keep it from sagging out of sync with abundance in the vacuum. The realization that in a world of chaos, you can be the defining moment that brings it all together for good.
In readiness to greet the day, we acknowledge that the abundance of the world is ours to claim and we’re only here this day to share our abundance with those blessed people we meet. We set ourselves up for success as the day comes on, knowing that the joy we feel is more than enough to share with those around us and whatever we’re marketing in our “job” can best be presented when we’ve put our best foot forward, filled up with joy and hope for a day of new beginnings.
The retail marketer filled with energy and exuberance offers more than mere product, she’s giving each customer who stops for a moment, a breath of the air she breathes. Out of her vast and comprehensive world of abundance, she simply offers the gift of allowing others to buy her wares.
