Is it possible to make chocolate decorative icing for cookies?
I want to make cookies for valentines day and I've seen all those cute icing designs e.g. bakingland.us wp content uploads 2011 03 IMG 5540.jpg which I wanna doHowever is it possible to use coloured melted chocolate instead of royal icing? I thought it would taste better but would it be difficult to pipe the chocolate and to make the designs like that?If it's possible how would I do it?
Making a chocolate cake with cookiedough inside.?
My husbands birthday is coming up and I've made him a cake every year since we've know each other. This year I was wanting to make the traditional chocolate cake his favorite but had cookie dough as a mix in. I've been looking for recipes and can only find cookie dough cake. Does anyone know the best way to go about making this, or have a recipe?
Cadburys chocolate from the 50's/60's?
My mum has been going on about these Cadburys chocolate bars from either the 50s or 60s she can't really remember. She just remembers that they were cadburys bars with squares and the squares were filled with lime, strawberry or marzipan. Kemps makes chocolate milk and ice cream and other dairy treats, so my question is, where does that chocolate come from? Their chocolate in their chocolate milk, their chocolate in their elephant tracks, in their ice cream sandwiches? Does it come from a popular chain like Hersheys? Any ideas about shipping chocolate dipped fresh strawberries without having them wilt?
I have found that chocolate dipped strawberries left in the fridge overnight will shrimk away from the chocolate shell. Any ideas of ways that these could be shipped either overnight or priority mail without that happening? They still taste good but aren't as pretty
